The Y-cable/OBD-Twin splits the existing OBD port into two separate jacks: one for the logbook connector and a second for the repair shop. This allows the diagnostic tool to be plugged in during maintenance, inspection, or TÜV testing without removing the trip log system. As a result, everything remains securely installed, and the repair shop can work without interruptions.
